Jose M. Ortega
Founding Partner
Jose M. Ortega did his undergraduate studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica where he obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree. He studied law at Loyola University of Chicago and obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 1999.
Mr. Ortega has practiced Law since 1999 and has successfully represented clients in the negotiation, settlement and litigation of their divorce, paternity and family law matters.
In the area of personal injury and worker's compensation, he assists clients in the initial evaluation of their cases to determine how much their claims may be worth. He represents clients in court to obtain the best result possible in each specific case.
Mr. Ortega has experience dealing with insurance companies. In the past he represented insurance companies against individuals seeking monetary compensation from them.
Jeffrey A. Soufal
Of Counsel
Jeffrey A. Soufal attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then studied law at the DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1994.
Since being admitted to the Illinois bar in May 1995, Mr. Soufal has worked in such areas of law as criminal law (as a prosecutor), personal injury, creditors’ rights and collections, and divorce and family law. Mr. Soufal is an Independant Counsel.
